Silky, dusky ants colony (Formica fusca)

Here you will find our changing range of fusca ant colonies. Formica fusca is also known as the grey-black silky or dusky ant. They are known for their enormous speed and are mainly found in the woods. Red bush ant queens often hijack a small silky ant colony to start a colony. That is why the silky or dusky ant is also called the slave ant.
